This website is operated by The Chic Aunt, based in Italy. By placing an order on www.thechicaunt.com, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. Products

The Chic Aunt sells carefully selected vintage accessories and small home decor items. Vintage products are pre-owned/second-hand pieces: as such, they may show signs of wear, minor imperfections, or traces of time, which are an integral part of their charm and value. These characteristics are not considered defects.

Each product description and photograph accurately reflects the condition of the item. Customers are encouraged to read descriptions carefully before completing a purchase.

3. Prices and Payments

All prices listed on the website are in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. The Chic Aunt reserves the right to modify prices at any time; however, the price applied will always be the one displayed at the time the order is confirmed.

Payments are processed through the methods available at checkout. The Chic Aunt does not store any credit card or payment instrument data.

4. Orders and Confirmation

Once a purchase is completed, the customer will receive an order confirmation email at the address provided during checkout. Please double-check all details before completing payment.

The Chic Aunt reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of obvious pricing errors, product unavailability, or payment issues. In such cases, the customer will be promptly notified and fully refunded.

5. Shipping

The Chic Aunt ships to Italy and the main European countries. Orders are shipped via selected couriers. Shipping times and costs are displayed at checkout and may vary depending on the destination and parcel weight.

Once an order has been dispatched, the customer will receive a tracking number by email. The Chic Aunt is not responsible for delays caused by the courier, force majeure events, or customs issues.

6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

In accordance with the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and applicable European regulations, customers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without providing any reason.

To exercise this right, the customer must:

– Send a written notice to bonjourthechicaunt@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving the product, including the order number and the items they wish to return. – Return the product within 14 days of notifying us, in the same condition as received, in appropriate packaging. – Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, unless otherwise stated.

Please note: as our products are vintage and second-hand, we encourage customers to carefully review all photos and descriptions before purchasing. Signs of wear and aging that are inherent to vintage pieces do not constitute a product defect and do not qualify for a return on those grounds.

7. Defective or Incorrect Products

If the product received differs from the one ordered, or presents defects not mentioned in the description, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order at bonjourthechicaunt@gmail.com, attaching photos of the product and packaging. We will work with you to find the most appropriate solution (replacement, return, or refund).

8. Personal Data Protection

The Chic Aunt processes customers' personal data in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Reg. 2016/679) and applicable Italian law. Data collected is used solely for order management, customer communication, and — where consent has been given — for sending newsletters and promotional communications.
